Patrick Dale Rolison, age 28, of Pass Christian, Mississippi passed away on August 21, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. He will be greatly missed by all.
Patrick is survived by his father, Jimmy Ray Rolison; mother, Tracy Oxendine; siblings, Willie Ray Oxendine, Jr., Brandon Ray Oxendine, Astoria Lee Oxendine, and Michael Ray Oxendine; his grandmother, Gayla Ann Rosenpie; grandfather, Michael Allen Rager; Uncle, Phillip Rosenpie; and many more family and friends far too numerous to include individually.
Patrick had the heart of a warrior and an old soul of an elder. He was a sweet, loving, compassionate man who would do anything for anyone just to see them smile. He loved deeply and could light up the room with his antics and charming personality. There is forever an empty hole in my heart from the loss of this man. Sadly, I don't know if he ever knew the value he had to me in my life. He was so caring that he could hear someone was sick or struggling and he would ride his bike to the house with chicken noodle soup in hand and flowers he picked along the way just to brighten their spirits and put a smile on their face. That was Pat-Rick. Never will he be forgotten, and I forever hope he rests in peace because God knows that man deserves every bit of peace he can get. Patrick, my buddy, fly high for me. If only I could make sure he knew what I failed to say. That he forever made an impression on me, and I will never forget him. He deserves so much honor and recognition for the things he did for others. I will cherish the friendship we had for the rest of my days. I wish he could be here to share more time with me and show the world more of his personality and love. He was a wonderful friend to me, and I have so much sadness because I don’t know if he knew what he meant to the people he loved. He deserved a good chance at life, and he never got it. Patrick’s life was difficult and because of that he had humbled himself and showed the world his loving and gentle soul. This world was a better place because this man was in it and the people who loved Patrick are deeply saddened by his loss. I wish we could have had him longer, but I guess God needs his best soldiers now and in my soul, I know he will be leading the pack.
