Patrick Michael McCann

Patrick Michael McCann, age 55, of Diamondhead, passed away on April 4, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Dana Joy McCann; maternal grandparents, Hillard and Carol Wehunt; and his paternal grandparents, Robert "Pat" Patterson and Emma Lou Williams.

Patrick is survived by his wife of 23 years, Laura Moore McCann; his children, Aiden Michael McCann and Braden Ray McCann; his parents, Michael McCann and Billie Jean McCann; and his siblings, Kim Sawyer (Herb "Scooter), and Kasey Valentine (Artie); he is also survived by his mother and father in law, Jimmy and Cheryl Moore; two sisters- in- law, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Patrick was a Gulfport native and graduated from Gulfport High School, class of 1987. He was an Operator for the Harrison County Board of Supervisors, Parks and Recreation.

He leaves behind a legacy of numerous achievements, but his greatest role was being a devoted father to his 2 sons. Patrick enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling, and football, especially when shared with his 2 sons, who brought him immense happiness. He was a member of Bay St. Louis Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Aiden and Braden McCann at any Keesler Federal Credit Union location. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian.
