Patrick ""Aka-Eli"" Dean Ladner, age 50 and a resident of Lizana, died on Monday, January 16, 2012, in Lizana.
Patrick was a native and lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast and was of the Catholic faith. He was owner/operator of Wolf River Trucking.
Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Bernie Ladner; a brother, Pruet Ladner and a nephew, Nickolas Ladner.
He is survived by his wife, Donde Ladner of Lizana; his daughter, Summer Ladner of Lizana; his son, Jesse Ladner of Lizana; his mother, Kathy Slade of Purvis; his sister, Priscilla Johnson of Lizana; his brothers, Paul Ladner of Lizana and Michael Slade of Purvis; his nephew, Thomas Johnson; his nieces, Amanda Johnson, Hailey Johnson, Jasmine Craig, Nickole Ladner, and Jayden Moran; along with other family members and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Canon Hospice in Gulfport.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012, from 10:00am until 11:00am at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11213 Highway 49 North in Gulfport. A graveside service will follow at Wolf River Cemetery at 11:30am.
