Patrick Harvey Howard II, born on December 20, 1985, in Ocean Springs, was a devoted family man whose life was tragically cut short on August 5, 2024, in Gulfport. He leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion as a husband and father.
Patrick was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Katelynn Howard. They were together for 13 years, then they shared five wonderful years of marriage . Together, they nurtured their five children: Shaunna, Ryleigh, Tyler, Ryder, and Abel. His dedication to his family was evident in everything he did, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
A man of diverse interests, Patrick had a vibrant spirit that shone through in his hobbies. He enjoyed basketball and football, often sharing his passion for these sports with his loved ones. Dancing was another joy in his life, embodying a rhythm that resonated in both his personal and family moments. Music filled his life with a sense of joy and connection, while his excitement for bottle flare and dirt bikes added an adventurous edge to his character.
Patrick is also survived by his beloved family, including his mother, Peggy R. Finan, along with his siblings: Zachary T. Howard, Jennifer L. Gilmore, Kelly M. Dunbar, and Terry M. Battson. He also held a special place in his heart for his grandmother, Natalie Howard.
He is preceded in death by his father, Patrick Howard Sr., his grandfather, Patrick H. Howard, and his uncle, Billy Howard, who will forever be remembered in the memories of those who loved them.
Patrick's spirit will live on through the enduring love he fostered within his family. His legacy of dedication, love, and joy will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Patrick was high on life. He never met a stranger. He always kept a smile on his face and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. The love he had for his children was unmatched. He was a loyal friend, son, brother, and husband. Any hobby he took interest in, he perfected. His laugh was contagious. He will forever be loved and missed. There will never be another “Pat Pat”.
