Patricia Ann Carr Terry, age 86, of Diamondhead, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Baker Carr and Waldene Cline Carr.

Patricia is survived by her son, Dennis (Karen) of New Orleans, Louisiana; her brother Dan Carr of Natchitoches, Louisiana ; her granddaughter, Megan Terry of Washington D.C., nieces, Karen Townsend (Bill), Patti Weber, Heather Sevin (Kevin); nephew, Brent Carr (Andreé) ; nine great nieces and nephews and "adopted sister" Jackie Frashier.

Patricia graduated from Picayune Memorial High School and attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She was employed at The Mississippi Test Facility for 9 years and at The Royal Sonesta Hotel as a Human Resources Director, she retired in 2004.
She was a Mississippi Master Gardener and spent time volunteering in her community. Patricia enjoyed traveling, gardening, and collecting antiques. She was a member of Diamondhead Methodist Church where she served as treasurer, chairman and was on the Administrative Board. She was also President and Secretary of the Hancock County Republican Women's Club.

The family would like to thank Patricia's friends who helped her in her final months.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Patricia's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Center, The Gary Sinise Foundation for Veteran's or The Hancock Food Pantry.  

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 beginning at 11:00 AM at Diamondhead United Methodist Church.
