Patricia Bates Stepp passed away Tueasday, April 14, 2009 at home in Long Beach after a lengthy illness.at the age of 57.
She was born October 10, 1951 in Dermott, AR and lived most of her life in Long Beach, She was a graduate of Long Beach High School and was of the Catholic Faith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert H Bates, Sr.
Trish leaves behind her loving husband, Tommy Stepp, her devoted son, Jack Bowell of Long Beach, her mother, Barbara Bates, brothers Larry (K.C.) Bates of Long Beach and Robert """"Bobby"""" (Jackie) Bates of Pass Christian, her grandchildren Brandon and Madison Bowell of Long Beach. She also leaves a step-son, Joel (Crystal) Stepp of Gulfport, MS and a host of nephews and nieces.
Trish will always be remembered by her family and many friends for her kind heart, her love of cooking and her cats. She never met a stranger and valued friendships highly.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2009 with a visitation from 1:30-3:00 p.m. with services immediately following. Both will take place at St. Thomas Catholic Church at 5557 Daughtery Rd., Long Beach, MS.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of South MS. 2615 25th Ave, Gulfport, MS 39501
