Patricia "Patsy" (Balius) Premeaux, age 92, of Biloxi, was released from this life on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Long Beach, MS. She was surrounded by her loving family by her side. Patsy was born on June 17, 1928 in Biloxi and attended Sacred Heart Academy. She was an active and dedicated Catholic member at Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos Catholic Church, a member of the Fleur de Lis French Club, a Rock Club, and the Golden Age Group. Her talents were many. Her first job was at the Serson Optic Factory, and she was an extremely accomplished seamstress at Deedy's Bridal and Gown. She was a creative pottery artist, had an undeniable love for animals, and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Patsy enjoyed camping, traveling, visiting casinos, watching the Saints, dancing and singing, and listening to her all-time favorite, Willie Nelson. She loved chasing floats and catching all of the beads at the Mardi Gras parades and collecting beautiful rocks and crystals. Perhaps her most memorable and cherished experiences were watching the Atlas fights where she would cheer the fighters on during battle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rayford Premeaux, Sr. her parents, Noel, Sr. and Maria Balius; and her brother, Donald Balius, Sr. She is survived by her three children, Sandra Premeaux, Rayford Premeaux, Jr., and Patricia Mattina; grandchildren, Glenn, Jr. and Johnny Mattina, Keith and Johnny Cassidy, Maria Balius, Missy and Rayell Premeaux; and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos Catholic Church, 360 Lameuse Street, Biloxi, at 11:00 am. Friends may visit one hour prior. Entombment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery. The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful care given at Senior Oaks of Long Beach.
