Patricia Bynum McCall

Patricia Ann Bynum McCall, age 65, of Brookhaven, MS, passed away on June 8, 2024, in Paris, France.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, J.P. Bynum and Martha Faye Bynum. She is survived by her husband, Charlie McCall; her children, Carolyn Shearrer (Chandler), Mary Allison (Eric), and Katie McCall; her grandchildren, Caileigh Shearrer, Caiden Shearrer, Everett Allison and Charlie Allison; and her brother, Joe Bynum, III.

Born in Birmingham, Alabama on May 1st, 1959, Patricia grew up on the family’s farm in Oneonta, Alabama. She attended Auburn University where she met her husband. Patricia moved several times throughout the years with her husband, to Texas, Missouri, Ohio, and Mississippi, among others. They would always find local Lutheran churches so their daughters could be raised in the church.

Patricia received an associate’s degree in music from Snead State. She was always active in her local church, singing in choir, playing handbells, teaching VBS, music, and playing the piano. Patricia was an avid knitter and crocheter and would work on projects for her family just because. She was always reading and working Sudoku puzzles. She was a big coffee lover and cat lover. She spent time taking care of her mother in her later years and enjoyed traveling with her husband.

Her most proud achievements were raising her three beautiful daughters. She created numerous knitting and crocheting projects for her family and friends. Patricia accumulated an extensive collection of yarn and books.

Lovingly known to most as Tricia or Trish, she was on her last adventure with her husband, Charlie, in France. After an evening spent with Charlie and some new friends on their two-week vacation sailing down the Seine, Tricia suffered from a heart attack. Tricia was a very kind and loving person who was always concerned about others by making sure everybody was comfortable and happy. In recent years, she enjoyed doting on her four grandchildren. Her smiling face and cheerful attitude will be missed by all who met her and knew her.

Visitation for Patricia will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. On Monday, June 24, 2024 at 9:30 AM a procession will leave the funeral home going to the 10:00 AM graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave. Biloxi.
