Patricia Lou Maki, age 70, of Long Beach, MS, passed away June 18, 2024. She was born on February 10, 1954, in Utica, New York, to Richard and Bethel Carman.

In her career, Patricia worked as a caregiver in healthcare, where she touched the lives of many with her compassionate nature and nurturing spirit. Those who knew her well would describe her as someone who was always there to lend a helping hand and offer comfort to those in need. Beyond her professional life, Patricia was known for her vibrant personality. Her home was filled with elephants of all sorts, remnants of New York, handwritten recipes, and a vast collection of mementos that showcased her unique taste and cherished memories. Pat's proudest accomplishment was being a devoted mother to her three children, as well as a loving Nonnie to her nine grandchildren. She selflessly put her family above all else and showered them with love from the depths of her heart.

Patricia is survived by her children, Sean and Jessica Carman, Billy Roach and Allison Levitan, and Katelynn Necaise; her grandchildren, Kali Carman, Tory Carman, Skyler Carman, Jolie Carman, Shaunna Claycomb, Ryleigh Howard, Tyler Howard, Ryder Howard, and Abel Howard; mother, Bethel Carman; and her siblings, James and Sharon Carman and Richard and Jewel Carman. She is preceded in death by her father Richard Carman and brother Brian Carman.

Patricia Lou Maki will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace knowing that she made a profound impact on the lives of many.
