Patricia May (Scott) Jenkins, age 67 and a resident of D'Iberville, MS passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2008, in Hicksville, OH.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Jenkins. Survivors include; her mother, Verona W. Dunlap of Van Nuys, CA; children, Laurie B. (Jerome) Zoller, Eric A. (Diana) Jenkins, Mark E. Jenkins, and Paul D. (Rebecca) Jenkins all of South MS; siblings, Jackie Maragopolous and JoAnne (Alfred) Preciado of CA; 9 grandchildren and 1 on the way, 3 great grandchildren, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Patricia came to Keesler Air Force Base in 1963 with her husband, Edward, and daughter, Laurie. Patty and Laurie returned to California while Edward served in Vietnam and to await the arrival of their first son, Eric Anthony. While stationed in Germany, 2 more sons were born to the family, Mark Edward and Paul David.
After retirement, Patty and Ed landed in D'Iberville, MS, and spent their remaining years enjoying working on their home and spending time with family. They attended Church regularly at the Gulf Coast Family Church of the Nazarene.
Patty was always there not only for her children, but for any and all who may have needed her. There was never any question that she loved her family with all her heart. The only thing that could part her from her home and family was the loving hand of Jesus calling her home.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 15, 2008, at Gulf Coast Family Church of the Nazarene.
