Patricia Ann Henderson 60, of Biloxi, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2008, in Gulfport.
She is preceded in death by her father, Claude A. Henderson; he mother, Janet D. Henderson; and her brother, Michael D. Henderson.
She is survived by her brother John R. (Dick) Henderson; sisters-in-law, Shirley Henderson and Vickie Henderson; numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and many, many friends.
She was born March 17, 1948, in Mobile, AL. Following her 1966 graduation from St. John High School, Gulfport, she studied with the Religious Sisters of Mercy in St. Louis, MO for two years before returning to Gulfport. She was a receptionist at St. John the Evangelist Parish for several years before becoming a switchboard operator at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. She was also a switchboard operator at McConnell AFB in Wichita, KS, and at the Biloxi VA Center. She retired from the Biloxi VA Center records department in 2006.
A Saints football fan, she enjoyed the games at the Superdome or with friends gathered to watch on television.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 4, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Gulfport. The visitation will be one hour prior to Mass. Burial will follow in the Long Beach City Cemetery. The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
