Patricia Dougherty

Patricia Ann “Pat” Dougherty, age 72, a native of Columbus, OH, passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at home in Perlington, MS  surrounded by loving family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ovid Wesley Woods; grandparents, Clyde and Faye Ward; sister, Darlene Woods Stires; brother, Rock Woods; and nephew, Daniel Thomas, Jr.

Pat is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Edward M. Dougherty; mother, Grace Marie Erwin; daughters, Anna Marie Papas and Michelle Anne Dougherty; siblings, Deborah (Daniel, Sr.) Thomas, Charles Woods, Sr., Lawrence (Elaine) Woods, Sr, William (Lisa) Woods, Robin (Donald) Bowling, Jack (Lisa) Stiles, Jimmy John Stiles, John Erwin, Christine (Dade) Osterlon; grandchildren, Kandace (Scott) Duffy Richardson, Kirsten Duffy, Kristen Lynn (Benjamin) Tillery, Lyla White, Neisha (Brandon) Schwartz; great grandchildren, Isabella, Olivia, Hanna, Lillie Mae, Shiya, Akira, Hayden, Derek, Jr., Levi, Blaine and Branson.

Pat earned her GED, then went on to get her Associates Degree in Accounting at Phillips Community College. In her spare time, she enjoyed video games, word puzzles, crocheting and cooking. She was proud to tell people that her dad and brother served as US Marines.
