Patricia ""Patti"" Bowering, 63, lifelong resident of Gulfport passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010 in Gulfport.
Patti loved the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gulfport.
Patti spent all of her time loving and taking care of her family and friends and truly left a legacy of love and service.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Brownlee.
She is survived by her mother, Helen Brownlee of Anniston, AL; her son, Guy Bowering, Jr. of Gulfport; her ""daughter,"" Kristin Harvey of Cambridge, MA; her siblings, Dottie Dickert of Anniston, AL, Bobby Brownlee of Guatemala, and Randy Brownlee of Gulfport; her nieces and nephew; and numerous family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 pm, with a visitation one hour prior, on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Riemann Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport.
Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul at St. James Catholic Church, 366 Cowan Rd Gulfport, MS 39507-2008.
