On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, the world lost a kind and gentle soul as Patricia Sara Bock peacefully passed away in Gulfport, Mississippi. She was born on October 31, 1935, in Marshlands, Pennsylvania, to Freida Gansel Hurlbert and Charles Hurlbert. Pat was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who touched lives with her warmth and compassion.

Throughout her life, Pat went on various endeavors that shaped her into the remarkable woman she was. She graduated from Gaines High School in Gaines, Pennsylvania, in 1953 and later pursued further education at Lycoming Community College's Wellsboro Campus. She then married Ralph Scofield, Jr., and had two children, Rodney and Cherree, and she then later married Donald Bock of Sierra Vista, Arizona. Her career path led her to work as a switchboard operator for Bell of PA before transitioning to roles in retail upon moving to Tucson, Arizona, in 1989. In Tucson, she attended Pima Community College. In 1999, she settled in Sierra Vista, Arizona, where she excelled as a retail manager until her retirement in 2003.

Patricia's legacy lives on through both her surviving and deceased family members. She is survived by her loving husband Donald Bock of Gulfport, MS; daughter, Cherree Scofield Tomme and husband Mike of Gulfport, MS; granddaughter, Chanell Jenkins and husband Jason of Biloxi, MS, along with their children Sarah, Alysa, & Jace; grandson, Chad Tomme of Kansas City, Kansas, and his sons Ashton & Rylan; grandson, Brian Scofield of Laport, Indiana; step-daughter, Donna Bock Sturm and husband Bill with their children Kristen and Kerry of Marana, Arizona; step-daughter, Diana Bock Oberlander and husband Gene of Bella Vista, Arkansas, with their children Ginny, Geno & Regina; step-son, David Bock of Marana, Arizona, with his children Katelynn, David & Justin; step-daughter-in-law Carol & her daughter KC; as well as numerous step-great-grandchildren and other loving family members and friends.

Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS 39503. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. The service will be live-streamed (Link available under the Funeral Service Details). This will be a time for family and friends to come together to honor and celebrate the wonderful life of Patricia Sara Bock.

Pat will be laid to rest at a later date at Fort Huachuca Cemetery in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

Pat's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing that her legacy of love and kindness will forever endure in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
