Born in Memphis, TN, Pam’s family moved to AK, before relocating to the MS Coast where she graduated from Bay St. Louis High School.
Pam loved learning. As a student, she studied economics and education at University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Mississippi State among other colleges. She received a double undergraduate degree, a double master's degree and completed her course work and dissertation towards her doctorate.
Pam went on to have a career in education. In addition to teaching K-12 students, often those in gifted programs, she was chosen to teach instructors in Bucharest, Romania on “how to teach economics.”
Pam was the recipient of many awards in the education field. She is one of only two educators to receive the Leo Seal Award twice. Her published “We’re in the Money” lesson plan was awarded 3rd place by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta in their nation-wide lesson plan contest.
Pam was an avid MS State fan and could quote her school’s statistics far better than most.
The family would like to thank Samantha with Gentiva Hospice and the staff at Senior Oaks for the excellent care they provided for Pam.
