Ozelle McDowell Harper, age 88, of Saucier, died Saturday, April 25, 2009 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Harper had been a resident of the coast since 1984, was a member of Cedardale Baptist Church, and enjoyed gardening and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Cleo McDowell; a son, William Donald McDowell; 2 siblings: Jimella Hawkins and Byron Watson; and a grandson, Kevin Roger McDowell.
Suvivors include her husband, Charles P. Harper; 2 children: James Robert McDowell and Gary McDowell; 4 step-children: Charles Eugene Harper, Sharon Rowland, Tony Harper, and Connie Hodge; 2 brothers: William Maurice Watson and Bernard Myron Watson; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 29, 2009 from 10 am - 12 noon at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm at Biloxi National Cemetery.
