Ouida Louise Winstead, 82, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in Gulfport, MS. She was a retired elementary school teacher for the Gulfport City Schools.
She is preceded in death by her parents Appie Davis and Mary Blanche Kelly Davis; brother, Stancel Davis.
She is survived by her husband Edwin H. ""Red"" Winstead of Gulfport, MS; son, Davis A. Winstead of Clinton; daughter, Sarah Wallen (Len) of Gulfport ; 2 Sisters, Helen Hitt and Kelly Mooney; 5 grandchildren, Davis A. Winstead, Jr., Jennings Winstead, Lenzee Perez, Laynee VanArsdall and Natalie Wallen; 2 great-grandchildren, Greyson Wallen and Oliver Perez.
A funeral service will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Gulfport. A visitation will be held at the church starting at 9:00 a.m. until service time. A burial will be held at Prentiss Cemetery in Prentiss, MS at 2:30 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS is serving the family.
