Ottis "Jean" Young, age 81 of Biloxi, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2019.
She fought her cancer valiantly for 15 years with the support of her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Monroe Jordan and Pirley Jordan; husband, Carlis Young; three brothers; and six Sisters.
Jean is survived by her six children, Daniel Madison (Minnie), Donna Anderson (Dennis), Delinda Hanson (Grady), Wayne Madison, Eric Madison (Patricia), and Sonijh Anderson (Samuel); Carlis' three children, Perry, Gary, and Regina Woodard; two sisters; eighteen grandchildren; thirty eight great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Jean was of the Baptist faith and was a loving mother and grandmother who gave her unconditional love to her family.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11:00am at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, MS, with a visitation for family and friends from 9:00am until the service. Burial will follow in Anderson Family Cemetery, Lizana.
