Ora N. Hensley, age 89, of Gulfport, passed away on October 25, 2008 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Sparks Hensley; his parents, Dennie Hensley and Olga Hensley; and a sister, Ethel Horner.
He is survived by his children, Gary Hensley and his wife, Mary, of Memphis, TN, David Hensley and his wife, Patricia, of Gulfport, Peggy Raymond and her husband, Gene, of Sebastopol, CA, and Vicky Finch and her husband, David, of Baton Rouge, LA; his siblings, Beatrice Yeley of Wheelersburg, OH, Alkie Pickens of Salem, IN, Roy Hensley of Bellbrook, OH, Anna Mae DeBoard of Midway, OH, and Betty Harlow of Xenia, OH; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Mr. Hensley was a member of the Orange Grove Church of Christ and a veteran of World War II.
The visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
