Ophelia P. Johnson, age 95, of Winter Garden, FL, former resident of Biloxi, died Saturday, July 24, 2010 in Winter Garden, FL.
She was a resident of Biloxi for 30 years before moving to Florida and she attended pass Road Baptist Church. Mrs. Johnson loved being a mother, grandmother and staying at home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Johnson, and a son, James C. Johnson.
Survivors include 2 sons, Dean (Sonya) Johnson, of Zillah, WA, Rau Johnson, of Winter Garden, FL, 1 daughter, Bonnie (Charles) Powell, of Chiefland, FL, 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 6-8 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be 11 AM Thursday in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Bond Cemetery.
