Ollie M. Kornman, age 87, and a resident of Biloxi, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 in Biloxi.
She was born in Elkhart, TX and was a lifelong resident of the Coast. She was a very busy and loving mother and homemaker. She loved life, her husband and children, and her family. Mrs. Kornman devoted her life to being a servant and helping those in need. She enjoyed spending time with the Busy Bees doing needlework. Ollie was a God fearing Christian woman who is now at eternal rest """"in Christ."""" She was Jake's, her loving husband of 55 years, """"Sweet Potato Gal.""""
Mrs. Kornman was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Franklin and Minnie Lee Diamond Malpass; her husband, Jacob Joseph Kornman, Jr.; and a daughter, Carolynn Znachko.
Survivors include her children; Martha Arleen Atherton of Ft. Worth, TX, Joenelle V. Parker of Biloxi, Darleen Poulos (Jimmy), of Biloxi, and Jacob Joseph Kornman, III (Linda), of Ft. Worth, TX; sister, Edna Earle Scarborough of MN; grandchildren, Carrall, Michael, Kimberly, John Scott, Jacklyn, Christian, Gregory, Samuel, Michael, and Tina; great grandchildren, Jacob Taylor, Caroline, Heather, Michael, Brandon, Westin, Zach, Hannah, Rylan, Kristin, Ashlynn, Alysha, Greg, Jr., Chanda, Megan, Abbie, Caroline and Carrie; great great grandchildren; Aiden and Andrew.
A special thanks is extended to Camellia Hospice and Debbie Dubuisson, Debbie Hall, and La Carol Hawkins, for their love and special care.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, where friends may visit from 9-11 am. Funeral services will immediately follow in the chapel at 11 am. Burial will be Monday, June 29, 2009, at 9 am at Biloxi National Cemetery.
