Olivia Williams-Mefford, 98, of Long Beach, passed away in Gulfport on Monday, May 10, 2010.
She was born in Pennsylvania on February 7, 1912, and lived most of her life in New Jersey.
She moved to Long Beach in 1986 to be close to her daughter and granddaughters. She was a member of Long Beach Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sisters; and her husbands, Walter Williams and Jerome Mefford.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Marie of Long Beach; her granddaughters, Danielle Parker (Jack) of Long Beach and Lauren Shurden (Don) of Hattiesburg; her great grandson, Joshua Shurden of Hattiesburg; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 am on Friday, May 14, 2010 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach. Graveside service will be held at 11 am at Long Beach City Cemetery with Rev. Rob Butler officiating.
