Oliver Gray Young age 66, born in Biloxi and resident of D’iberville, MS, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 in Ocean Springs, MS.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Gray Young; his stepfather, Lee Francis, and his
father-in-law, Verlon Lloyd Garlotte.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 46 years, Mary Evelyn Garlotte Young; his mother, Virginia Faye Williams Young Francis his mother- in-law, Rose Loise Garlotte; his children, Loren Gray Young and Brandon Oliver Young; his siblings, Vicki Osborn, Loretta Rushing, Bonnie Young, Wanda Young; and his precious grandchildren that he adored, Logan Gray Young, and Lane Emile Young; a host of relatives and dear friends.
Gray was a self-employed contractor known by many here on the Gulf Coast. He is a graduate of D’iberville High School, a certified hunter, number one husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved hunting, fishing and being with his family, but most of all he loved the Lord. He was a longtime member of Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in D’Iberville.
Mr. Gray Young was a well-loved man and an important part of his community. He was a firm believer in the Lord and lived his life to serve God. He loved to be outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. He touched the lives of anyone he connected with and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. At his wished, there will be no services at this time.
