Odile M. (Dottie) Stapleton, 88 of Waveland, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2011, in Diamondhead. She was born in New Orleans and was a resident of Waveland, where she owned a bakery. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Stapleton, her son, Gary Stapleton and a sister, Jane Bourgeois.
She is survived by her sister, Marion Daly, her neice, Gwen Reese and her nephews, Clinton and Ty Daly.
Mrs. Stapleton was a loved family member and resident of Woodland Village Nursing Center. The family would like to express their thanks to everyone for the excellent loving care given while a resident there.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012, at 10am at Biloxi National Cemetery.
The Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road in Pass Christian, assisted with arrangements.
