Norris Joseph Chiasson, Sr., 70, of Kiln, passed away, Sunday, May 23, 2010.
He was a diesel mechanic for most of his life. He loved gardening, fishing, hunting, family get togethers, and his little dogs. He was a member of Bayou Talla Fellowship.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Citymaw, and father; and his son Rene Chiasson.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Glenda Chiasson; his son, Norris Chiasson, Jr. and his wife, Melissa; his daughter-in-law, Kim Chiasson; his grandchildren, Sabrina Chiasson, Syera and Spencer Duvall, Caleb Chiasson, Cameron Chiasson; one great grandchild, Karlos Duvall; and one great grandchild on the way. He is survived by his sister, Doris Combe and her family.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 4 pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian. A visitaiton will he held for family and friends from 3 pm until service time.
Interment will follow the service at St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
