Norman "Buddy" Nicely

Norman ""Buddy"" Nicely passed away on August 7, 2012. Mr. Nicely was a humble, hard-working, loving husband, father, and grandfather and was called to Heaven after a long battle with a rare brain disease.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1972. He was known by many as the owner of Nicely's Auto Body Shop, which he proudly operated for many years. He also had worked for various construction companies as a millwright. He worked for DuPont where he retired in 1998.
Mr. Nicely is preceded in death by his father, Lester Nicely; and step-father Layne Smith.
He is survived by his mother, Erma Smith; ex-wife of 40 years Judy Nicely; daughter, Sonja (Jason) Hill; step-daughter, Carol (Hilburn) Parker, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Nicely is resting peacefully and will be missed greatly.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS.
