Norman Lloyd

Norman Karlson Lloyd, age 72 of Mandeville, LA, died Thursday, July 26, 2018 in Mandeville, LA.
Mr. Lloyd was a native of Long Beach, MS.  He served in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam War with the rank of Sergeant.  Mr. Lloyd was a graduate of Long Beach High School and the University of Southern Mississippi.  Mr. Lloyd was a loan workout specialist for many years at both the FSLIC and FDIC.  He worked at the Louisiana Road Home Grant Program, until his retirement in 2015 assisting homeowners rebuild after Hurricane Katrina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. Lloyd, Sr., and Guida Thomas Lloyd; and his brother, John B. Lloyd, Jr., of Brandon, MS.  He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kathryn Lotz Lloyd of Mandeville, LA; one stepdaughter, Nicole S. Kassavetis of Atlanta, GA, a niece, Lindsay L. Donighe; and nephew, Christopher Lloyd.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Gary Sinise Foundation or Second Harvest Food Bank.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, from 10 am - 12 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.  A prayer service will be at 12 pm in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
