Norman Arnold Lehnen, age 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 14, 2022, in Gulfport, MS.
He was preceded in death by parents, Antone and Clara Lehnen; and sisters & brothers, Audrey Zadrozny, Richard Lehnen, Connie Pendowski, Marlyn Brown and Thalma Lehnen.
Survivors include his wife, Yan Ying Zhan; he was the loving brother of Lyla Provo, William (Kathleen), and Ramon; and the most dearest uncle, great-uncle, and great-great uncle of many.
Mr. Lehnen was born on the family farm in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He lived in Lakeshore, MS on the farm since the 1960s. Mr. Lehnen served in the U.S. Navy. He was a PGA Pro Golfer in 1962 in Dunedin, Florida; and was the top insurance salesman for American National Insurance Company in Biloxi. He graduated with a BA from the University of Southern Mississippi. He then graduated from Law school in 1980. He helped many people study for US Citizenship, and he always had dictionary in hand.
He liked to visit family in St. Cloud and loved to laugh and enjoy life, and always had a story to tell.
Friends are invited to join the family for Visitation and Services on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 141 Highway 90, Waveland, MS. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:45 a.m.
Following Services, a funeral procession will leave and proceed to the family farm. After pausing for a few moments, the procession will then go to Biloxi National Cemetery where Mr. Lehnen will be laid to rest with Military Honors rendered by the U. S. Navy.
