Norman R. Dargel, 87, of Gulfport, died Saturday, January 13, 2012. Mr. Dargel was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II and the Korean War. He retired from the National Weather Service and was of the Catholic faith.
Mr. Dargel is survived by his wife, Efigenia Dargel; sons, Rendell Dargel, Michael Dargel and Thomas Dargel; and daughters, Mari Woodie, Linda Dargel and Kathleen Dargel Long.
Visitation will be Friday, January 20 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Tributes may be offered at www.riemannfamily.com.
