Norman Dean Clark, 81, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2011, in Gulfport.
Mr. Clark, born in Dothan, Alabama, was raised in Campti, Louisiana, and graduated from LSU in 1950. He and his wife, Sadie, raised their family in Gulfport. Norman retired from United Companies as vice president in 1991. A man who loved people, Norman enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling in the American West with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sadie C. Clark, son and daughter-in-law Larry Clark and Melanie Jenner Clark, daughter and son-in-law Linda Clark Watts and Jim Watts, and four grandchildren Jennifer (Clark) Wittmann and her husband, Jack, and Lauren Clark, Kate Watts, and Alex Watts.
Visitation is Sunday, September 25th at 1:00 pm with services to follow at 2:00 pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Highway 49 North in Gulfport . Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 8910 Carl Legett Rd, Gulfport.
The family would like to thank the staff at Lakeview Nursing Home for their special care.
