MMC, Norman Edgar Bryant, US Navy, Retired, age 83, passed away on December 26, 2018 in Gulfport, MS.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Edgar Bryant and Earline Nora Clifford Bryant; brothers, Fred Bryant, Leroy Bryant, Billy Bryant, and Tommy Bryant; and his first spouse, Arneva Janette Ladner Bryant.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Ladner Bryant; sister, Mary Jane Dixon of Mesa, AZ; four children, Arnold Bryant, Norma Jean Frye (Kenny), Jessie E. Bryant (Tammy), Jennifer Renee; 11 grandchildren, Jeffrey Frye (Bethany), Jessie Frye (Cynthia), Ken Frye, Jr., Anthony Frye, Alyssa Bryant Kenworthy (John), Savannah Marie Bryant, Toma, Dakota, Cheyenna, Raven, Skylar; and eight great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Jacob F., Jacob K., Addy, Conner, Camren, Tessa, and Zoey.
He received two associate degrees at Phillips College, one in Computer Programming, and the other in Accounting. During his time in the Navy he boxed and played softball.
Mr. Bryant retired from the US Navy and the US Naval Home.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, Saints football, and western movies.
Visitation will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd. Pass Christian from 9 - 11 AM on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM A graveside service will follow at Standard Sandhill Cemetery at 11:15 AM.
