Mrs. Norma Dye, age 77, resident of St. Martin MS, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Dye; parents Bruce Thigpen and Irene Smith Bang; granddaughter McKenzie Taylor Dye; and siblings Joann Evans and Robert Favre.
Left behind to cherish her memory include her four children, Darlyn “Lyn” Zilke (Walter) of St. Martin, Bill Dye (Amelia) of Ocean Springs, Todd Dye (Amy) of Biloxi, Steven Dye (Tiffany) of Ocean Springs; and eight grandchildren, Kenny Saucier, Scott Zilke, Christopher Dye, Emma Dye, Hayley Ladner (Cory), Katie Dye, Kyle Dye and Logan Dye.
Norma was born in Picayune and grew up in Bay St. Louis, where she attended high school. She was a woman of Christian faith, and lived for her family. She loved spending time with her children and precious grandchildren. She was a true homebody and on most days, you could find her comfortable in her home drinking coffee. She will be missed by all who knew her and remembered for her love of her family.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport, MS. The procession will follow to Dye Family Cemetery with committal services at the graveside.
