Norma Coussens Day, 76, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2009, in Gulfport. Born in Magnolia, MS, she was the daughter of the late William Ollie and Irene Lang Coussens.
Mrs. Day was an active member of Coalville United Methodist Church for 27 years. Where she had served in many capacities, including church secretary, membership secretary, and the choir.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert E. """"Bob"""" Day; brother, William Ollie """"Toby"""" Coussens, Jr. (Janyce) of Jacksonville, FL; two daughters; Suzanne Day Price (Marty), of SC and Cynthia Day Dickerson (Steve), of Big Point, MS; and one son, Russell E. Day (Susan) of Wade, MS. Additionally she had seven grandchildren, Steven Hearndon (Erin), Jacob Dickerson (Katie), Justin Dickerson, Crissy Price Skelly (Brandon), Dani Price, Katelyn Day and Kimberly Day; three great-grandchildren, Keegan and Gavin Hearndon, and Hannah Dickerson; numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends
Visitation will be held from 6pm until 8pm on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 28, 2009 at Coalville United Methodist Church, with visitation 1hr. prior. Burial will follow at Coalville Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowes, memorials may be made to Coalville United Methodist Church, 12298 Shorecrest Rd, Biloxi, MS 39532.
