Norine Ladner Moran

Norine Ladner Moran, age 78, a resident of Gulfport, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at home with her family at her side.
Mrs. Moran was born in Hancock County to Ferdinand and Exia Ladner. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Lizana and worked at Gulf Coast Community Action Agency for 33 years before retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, FrankLee ""Buddy"" Moran; sister, Glorine L. Moran; grandchild, Krystal Lizana; and great-grandchildren, Jada Miley and Adam Peterson.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda and Larry Cowart, Gail and David Ladner, Ruth and August Schonewitz, Emmie and Ronald Tubbs, all of Lizana, Darlene and Billy Billingsley of Saucier, and Melanie Seaman of Pass Christian; her sons, Frankie and Vicki Moran of D'Iberville, and John Moran and Timothy Moran of Lizana; siblings, Ferdinand Ladner Jr., Roland J. Ladner, Lveda Ladner, all of Kiln, Rita Aultz of Gulfport and Mary L. Saucier of Pass Christian; 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren with 1 more expected.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Rosary at 8:00 p.m.
A second visitation will be held on Saturday, August 25 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Lizana. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery.
