Nolan E, Cuevas, age 74, of Pass Christian, passed away on April 19, 2009 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Cuevas; his daughter, Kimberly Reynolds; his parents, Melvin and Eva Cuevas; his stepmother, Willie Cuevas; and a brother, Johnny Cuevas.
He is survived by his children, Myra (Steve) Moran, Keith (Belinda) Cuevas, Kelvin (Saranda) Cuevas, and Bradley (Terri) Cuevas, all of Lizana; six brothers, Kenneth Cuevas, Nathan Cuevas, Gerald Cuevas, Jerry Cuevas, Billy Cuevas, and J.D. Cuevas; two sisters, Willie Mae Peterson and Jessie Mae Holland; thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one expected great grandchild.
Mr. Cuevas was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church; a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp; and retired after 37 years with Tabers Extrusion as foreman.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Hwy 49, Gulfport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 2:00 PM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Lizana. Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery.
