Nicholas Campbell """"Nick"""" Eighmey, age 62, after a short but courageous battle with cancer, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2007 at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport.
Mr. Eighmey was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Eighmey; his parents, Lewis and Evelyn Eighmey; and his brother, Lewis Kemp Eighmey.
He is survived by his faithful and loving companion, Janet Chandler of Biloxi; three daughters, Betty (Randy) Russell of Wichita Falls, Texas, Carol (Greg) Griffin of Biloxi, and Melissa Munford of Euclid, Ohio; three grandchildren, Michael Scott Russell of Wichita Falls, Nicole Danielle Russell of Hattiesburg, and Tyler Munford of Euclid, OH; and one brother, Walter Sam Eighmey of Gulfport. He will also be missed by his extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 Noon, Monday, November 26, 2007 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, where friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
