Newitt Sherman Duplechin, age 31 of Saucier, passed away on August 4, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Margaret Nix; and paternal grandmother, Juanita Duplechin.
Newitt is survived by his parents, Carla Sue Gilchrist and Randall Duplechin; grandfather, Sherman Duplechin; brothers, Justin Weber (Angela), Brandon Duplechin, and Nicholas Strickland; nieces, Liberty Weber, Cherish Weber, and Memory Weber; and his dog, Diamond.
Newitt, aka The Kajun Kidd, loved electronics, being on the water fishing, and listening to Zydeco music. Kajun loved all of his family and friends. He especially loved his three beautiful nieces and his wonderful dog, Diamond. He enjoyed family time, Cajun foods, and wanted to be a tattooist.
Newitt will be missed by everyone who loved and knew him.
The memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, August 12, 2018, at 43 Grady Diamond Rd., Perkinson, MS 39571.
