Nellie Fondren Wilson, age 85 and formerly of West Drive in Biloxi, passed away August 21, 2012 in Brandon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert ""Buck"" Wilson.
She is survived by her six children, Nancy Wilson Strickland (Junior) of Louisville, AL, Clyde A. Wilson (Mary) of Brandon, MS, Dorothy A. Byrd (John) of Chicago, IL, Dean R. Wilson (Laretta) of Biloxi, Jean Wilson Woods (Henry) of Florence, MS, and James R. Wilson of Athens, AL; her sister, Barbara Fondren Mills of Pearl, MS; brother-in-law, Alfred Kornman of Petal, MS; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed spending time with children, sewing, and painting. Her decorated cakes have been featured on WLOX-TV, and she taught cake decorating at MGCCC, Perkinston campus.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. The Graveside Service will be at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Biloxi National Cemetery.
