Nellie Marie Butler Plummer, age 84, of Woolmarket, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 11, 2009 in Gulfport.
She was a native of West Virginia and lived most of her life on the coast. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and bowling.
She was preceded in death byher parents, William and Icie Honaker Butler, 4 brothers, Oscar, Howard, Paul, and Lester Butler, and 2 sisters, Naomi Clark and Norma Smith.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, William Plummer, 4 sons, William T. (Terri) Plummer, Ted Plummer, Danny Plummer, and Greg Plummer, 1 brother, Howard Butler, 1 sister, Nancy Peterson, 5 grandchildren, Jessica Gilbert, William T. Plummer, III, Blake Plummer, Charles Neal, and Melissa Glass, and 2 great-grandchildren, Antoni and Dylan Gilbert, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 14, 2009 from 9-11 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Woolmarket Cemetery.
