Nell Walker

Nell Johnston Walker, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, in Mobile, AL.  She was a native of Laurel, MS, former resident of Gulfport, MS and a longtime resident of Lucedale, MS.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rupert Rudolph Johnston; mother, Pearl Marie Johnston; and brother, Ray Austin.

Nell is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, James O. Walker; brother, Pat Johnston (Beverly); niece, Rebecca Johnston and nephew, Christopher Johnston.  Also, survived by numerous loving family members and friends.

She was employed by Keesler Air Force Base in Civil Service as a graphic illustrator and was a member of Promised Land Assembly of God Church in Lucedale, MS.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 20, 2021, from 1:00pm-2:00pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS 39503.  The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Gardens Cemetery, Gulfport, MS
