Neil Firm

Neil Stewart Firm (Hilton), age 41, a resident of Gulfport, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017. He was born in Galveston, TX, raised in Fort Worth, TX and has lived here on the coast since he was 13 years old.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Winnie Brown; his aunt, Karen Firm; and his uncle, Walter "Butch" Firm Jr. all of Fort Worth, TX.
Neil is survived by his daughter, Maci Firm (Hilton) of Gulfport; his loving mother, Carol Firm Hilton; his exceptional step-father, Roger D. Hilton, both of Gulfport; his uncle, John Firm and his wife Kim and their children, Cutter and Cash of Granbury, TX; his grandfather, Walter Firm of Fort Worth, TX; his great-aunt, Patty Laferney, of Gilmer, TX; his step-brother, Rocky Hilton of Biloxi, MS; his step-sister, Stephanie Hilton and J of Biloxi, MS; and many cousins.
Neil obtained an outstanding welding degree with honors and special recognition. He was an exceptional flooring installer and worked at times with The Flooring Specialist and his step-father, Roger Hilton.
He raced motorcycles as a young man. The love of motorcycles continued to his death. Neil also loved fishing with his Pa but his greatest delight was his daughter, Maci and his faithful companion, his dog, Ali.
Neil seemed to struggle and fight for everything he wanted in life. To some this comes easy but to Neil it was a battle he fought continually. The most saving grace is that he knew Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, he knew how to pray and had good Christian roots with generations of ministers. Anyone who truly knew him loved him.
Neil will be laid to rest at site family at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Fort Worth, TX at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport is serving the family.
