Nancy Grice Sullivan, age 83 of Pass Christian, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025.
She was a native of Pascagoula, Mississippi. Nancy, the wife of a commissioned officer in the United States Army and a devoted mother of two sons, retired from NASA at the John C. Stennis Space Center with over 25 years of Federal Service. During her career she served as the Military Staff Assistant for United States Congressman G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery and distinguished herself by receiving numerous awards for her achievements including recognition from the National Guard Association of the United States for her work supporting military service members and their families and the esteemed Silver Snoopy Award from NASA. Nancy loved her family, her community, and her country with all her heart and always sought to help others. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Northwestern State University in Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Darr Fred Sullivan, Jr., and her son, Randall Perry Sullivan of Pascagoula, MS; her father and mother Buford and Jean Grice of Pascagoula, MS; her sisters Joann Grice Pieper and Brenda Versiga of Pascagoula, MS; her brother James Grice of Monroe, LA.
Nancy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Kelly Sullivan of Diamondhead, MS and her grandsons Randy and Logan; her granddaughter Alexis Brumbaugh of Grand Junction, CO; her loving niece and goddaughter, Patricia Pieper Whatley and her husband Charlie of Fairhope, AL; her brother, Bobby Dale Grice of Virginia Beach, VA; her sister, Judia Gulledge of Pascagoula, MS; her brother in law and sister in law, Buddy and Barbara Graves of Slidell, LA; her sister in law, Anne Graves Davis of Slidell, LA; her brother in law, James Sullivan of Renton, WA; her sister in law, Patricia Durlach of Suffolk, VA; her brother in law and sister in law, Michael and Roseann Sullivan of Six Mile, SC; her sister in law and brother in law, Darlene and William Younginer of Wilmington, NC; and many others who loved her and were a part of her life.
Some of her pleasures in life were playing golf, tennis, gardening, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog Murphy.

A Memorial Ceremony will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Rd., Pass Christian, MS 39571, with visitation beginning at 9:00 am in the funeral home chapel.
