Nancy Jean Sexton ( Larimer) known to family and friends as Jeannie, died unexpectedly on June 15, 2018, at the age of 53 years.
She was predeceased by her father William Oliver Larimer and paternal grandparents William G. And Flora Asbury Larimer.
Jeannie will be lovingly remembered by her retired Navy Chief husband, Donald Sexton. She is also survived by her two children, Sara Pilgreen ( Austin) and Charles (Chuck) Sexton; her three grandchildren, Samuel, Joshua, and Evangeline; her mother, Saipin Larimer; and sisters, Sandra Stewart ( Rick), Jackie Seavey ( John) and Samantha Sampson. Jeannie will also be missed by her 8 nieces, nephews and great nieces.
Jeannie was born on February 2, 1965, in Arlington, Virginia, and lived her early years in the Washington DC metro area. In 1977 her family moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast where she graduated from Long Beach High School, met her devoted husband of 34 years, raised a family, and worked as a licensed Massage Therapist, most recently at the Beau Rivage hotel in Biloxi.
She was known by her family and colleagues as the voice of reason, calm and encouragement. The essence of Jeannie was putting the comfort and happiness of others ahead of herself. She loved working her land, tending her chickens, and driving her tractor. She was the embodiment of grace and goodness. Jeannie was a virtuous woman whose price was far above rubies (proverbs 31).
Memorial services will be held on Thursday June 21, 2018 at 1:00PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME 11280 Three Rivers Rd Gulfport with a visitation for family and friends from 12PM until the service. An online obituary may be viewed and condolences and photos shared at www.riemannfamily.com.
