Nancy Harris

Nancy Owens Harris, age 87, of Gulfport, MS, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022.

Nancy was a native of Hazlehurst, MS.  She worked with McGuire & Edwards, McGuire Homes, and Prudential Gardner.  She loved traveling and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her father; T.C. Owens, her mother; Ruth Owens, and her brother; David Owens.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Milton Harris of Gulfport her children, Terry (Susan) Harris of Pascagoula, MS, Ginger (Stuart) Huffman of San Antonio, TX, and Wes Harris of Houston, TX, her sisters, Catherine Cox of Brookhaven, MS and Linda (Mitch) Ferrell of Hazlehurst, MS;  her grandchildren, Adam (Lindsey) Harris, Tyler (Amanda) Harris, Rhett (Tiffany) Harris, Whitney (Chip) Lofton, Will Daniel, Tanner Huffman, Hadley Harris, Heath Harris, and Charlie Harris; and her 11 great grandchildren.

The family would like to send a special thanks to the St. Joseph Hospice of Gulfport and Memorial Hospital of Gulfport.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday April 27, 2022, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 5005 Lawson Ave. Gulfport, with the visitation for family and friends starting at 12:00 PM.  Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
