Nancy Centerbar

Nancy Centerbar, age 71, of Gulfport, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Frances Centerbar; sister, Susan Smith; nephew, Randall Smith; and brother, Vernon Centerbar.

Nancy is survived by her niece who was more like a daughter, Danica Saegert (Justin); sister, Donna Morgan; brother-in-law, Gary Smith; niece, Samantha Pappas; nephew, Christopher Pappas; great nephew, Cameron Leger; great nieces, Alivia Saegert, Adalyn Saegert, and Tayler Smith; and great great nephew, Kohen Grayson.

Nancy retired from Jitney Jungle Marketing, and from Harrison County School District Child Nutrition as a Manager. Her hobbies were watching all the great nieces and great nephews in all their sports, dance, and cheer. She loved playing Bunco with the ladies at Crosspoint Church.

Thank you to the ladies at Crosspoint Bunco Group for all their kindness and visiting with her when I couldn’t be there.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the South Mississippi Humane Society.

A graveside service will be at 1pm, Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Evergreen Cemetery.
