Myrtle Ruth Nesossis
August 21, 1924 — June 23, 2011
Myrtle Ruth Speed Nesossis, age 86, of Biloxi, was called home to be with the Lord on June 23, 2011. She was born one of eleven children in Seminary, MS on August 21, 1924.
She leaves behind many precious memories for her husband, Richard Nesossis; sisters, Ruby Lee and Iris Westbrook; daughters Gloria Ely and Elizabeth Harrison; stepchildren, Libby Anthony, Mark Nesossis, and Phyllis Breeland; grandchildren, Thad Shaw, Craig Shaw, Lance Shaw, David Ely, Jennifer Glogorski and Erin Ely; as well as a number of great grandchildren.
Extreme gratitude goes out to Canon Hospice for the loving care they provided and to Bertha Dismuke, her loyal caregiver.
Memorials may be made to The Gideons International, 2900 Lebanon Road, Nashville, TN 37214.
A celebration of Myrtle's life and her burial at Biloxi National Cemetery will be private.
