Myrtle Wedgeworth Herrin, age 89 and a resident of Saucier, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2008, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Herrin was a member of Saucier United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Perkinston Chapter.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Reginald R. Herrin; her parents, Seabron & Lilly Dye Wedgeworth; her brothers, Seabron Wedgeworth, Jr., Juke Wedgeworth, Ned Wedgeworth, and Doss Wedgeworth, and her sister, Velma Wedgeworth Ladner.
Mrs. Herrin is survived by her daughter, Joan (Gerald) Gnau; her son, Richard (Barbara) Herrin all of Saucier; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Saucier United Methodist Church, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Finley Cemetery.
