Myrtle Purchner Buck, age 84, of Biloxi, passed away on September 25, 2008 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold T. Buck, Sr; her son, Michael J. Buck; her parents, George Purchner, Sr and Blanche Levens; and four brothers, George Purchner, Jr, Charles Purchner, Dr. John B. Levens, and Leslie (Buddy) Levens.
She is survived by her children, Harold T. (Tommy) Buck, Jr of Gulfport, Dewey Buck of Biloxi, Ross Buck and his wife, Robbie, of Elsonore, AL, Rose E. Jermyn and her husband, Kenneth, of Pascagoula, Susan Johnson and her husband, Billy, of Biloxi, and Gordon Buck of Moss Point; two sisters, Peggy Pritchard and her husband, L.J., and Ada McAdoo, all of Gulfport; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A mother of seven children, she enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Memorials may be give to the Alzheimer's Association, MS Chapter, 1900 Dunbarton Dr., Suite H, Jackson, MS 39216.
Private services will be held.
