Myrna Elmere Donley Mayo

Myrna Elmere Donley Mayo, age 81, of Long Beach, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014.
She was born to James Gilmore and Myrtle Mardrie Gill Donley in Gulfport. She was a great cook, loved singing, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Divine Grace Baptist Church in Long Beach.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Mayo; her parents; and her brother, James K. Donley.
She is survived by her children, Dennis and Ann Mayo of Saucier, Trisha and Bill Duncan of GA, Sheri and Tony Hester of AL, and Mike and Kyndra Mayo of Bay St. Louis; 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Divine Grace Baptist Church, 5570 Red Creek Road, Long Beach, MS 39560, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow at the church.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Dunbar Village in Bay St. Louis for their diligence and care in the weeks preceding our mom's death.
