Myra M. Malley Padgett, age 80, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019 in Perkinston, MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Pamela Malley; numerous brothers and sisters; and a great granddaughter, Maelee Grace Anderson.
She is survived by her husband George Roland Padgett; son, Kirk Padgett (Teresa) of Perkinston; daughters, Wanda Lantz (Jerry) of Clinton, MS, Judy Ishee (Jeff) of Birmingham, AL; sisters, Rita Perkins (ML), Gloria Jones (Larry); brother, Roy Malley; 8 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Myra was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and graduated from St. John's High School in 1958. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, a believer of Jesus Christ and a long-time member of Michael Memorial Baptist Church.
Services honoring her life will be held on at 11:00 AM Monday, September 9, 2019 with visitation starting at 10:00 AM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport, MS. Graveside services will follow at Padgett Cemetery in Perkinston.
